Malt Dextrin is a starch derivative prepared by low-grade hydrolysis, purification and spray drying of starch without free starch. It has the characteristics of large viscosity, strong thickening, good solubility, good fast solubility, good carrier property, small fermentation, low moisture absorption, no odor, low sweetness, easy digestion and absorption, low heat and low fat. One of the most ideal basic raw materials in the industry, and is widely used in the paper industry, daily chemical industry, fine chemical industry and pharmaceutical industry.
Appearance: amorphous powder with white or micro-light yellow shades, no visible impurities.
Odor: It has the special smell of malt Dextrin, no smell, no smell.
Taste: not sweet or slightly sweet.
Malt Dextrin in the paper industry Malt Dextrin has good fluidity and strong adhesion. It has been used in the paper industry as a surface sizing agent and a coating for paper coatings. Some paper mills apply it to the production of coated paper. When used for surface spinning, it not only adsorbs on the paper fibers, but also penetrates into the paper, improves the adhesion between the fibers, and improves the appearance and physical properties. Using it instead of the previous casein or polyvinyl alcohol can significantly reduce production costs and energy consumption.
