Production method of beta-Sitosterol:
Raw material treatment: The base alkali soap is dried in an oven at a temperature of 80 ° C or lower to make the water content less than 2%, and the dry soap residue is in the form of small particles or powder.
Extraction: Add dry soap residue into the enamel reaction tank, add acetone (V soap residue: V acetone = 1:8), stir, jacket steam distillation, reflux extraction at 50-55 ° C for 3-4 h, cool to 30 ° C The material was allowed to stand at 10-15 ° C for 12 h, and filtered to obtain a filtrate.
Concentration, crystallization, drying: The filtrate was placed in a concentration tank, concentrated to 1/5 of the original volume to obtain a concentrated liquid, and allowed to stand at room temperature for 12 hours, and filtered to obtain a crude product, which was dried in an oven at 60 ° C to obtain a dried crude product.
Decolorization, crystallization, drying: take 25-30 times 95% ethanol, add hydrochloric acid, adjust pH to 3-4, heat in water bath, dissolve the crude product, add 10-20g/L activated carbon for 20min, and filter by hot. The filtrate was allowed to stand at room temperature for 12 h, and the crystals were completely precipitated. After filtration, the crystals were collected and dried under vacuum at 80 ° C to obtain beta-Sitosterol.
