Description:Tween 20 is an amber-colored viscous liquid with a slight peculiar odor and a slightly bitter taste. The relative density was 1.08 ~ 1.13, and the boiling point was 321℃. Soluble in water, ethanol, methanol and ethyl acetate, insoluble in mineral oil and petroleum ether. The HLB value is 16.7.
Tween 20 is an oil-in-water emulsifier, which can be used as solvent enhancer, diffusion agent, stabilizer, lubricant and antistatic agent.
Tween 20 is used in oil production as a paraffin inhibitor to remove wax from oil Wells. As a viscosity reducing agent, it can reduce the flow viscosity of crude oil and improve oil well production and transportation capacity.
Tween 20 is used in pharmaceutical and household chemicals as solvent enhancer, penetrant and dispersant for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
