Adverse reactions with Ketoconazole:
Ketoconazole topical adverse reactions:
1. Common erythema, burning, itching, stinging or other irritating symptoms, folliculitis, skin atrophy and thinning, telangiectasia and so on.
2. It can be seen that the skin is dry, hairy, shrinking, and increased susceptibility to infection.
3. Long-term medication may cause hypercorrosion, manifested as hairy, hemorrhoids, full moon face, osteoporosis and other symptoms.
4. Even can cause allergic contact dermatitis.
Oral side effects of Ketoconazole:
1. Hepatotoxicity: Ketoconazole can cause elevated serum aminotransferase (AST, ALT) and is reversible. Occasionally, severe hepatotoxicity occurs, mainly in hepatocyte type, the incidence rate is about 0.01%, the clinical manifestations are jaundice, dark urine color, white color of the feces, abnormal fatigue, etc., usually recover after stopping the drug, but there are also death cases; children There are also cases of hepatitis in the middle.
2. Gastrointestinal reactions: such as nausea, vomiting and anorexia are more common.
3. Male breast development and lack of semen, which is related to the inhibition of testosterone and adrenocortical hormone synthesis.
