Lincomycin hydrochloride is a white crystalline powder at room temperature, has a slight odor or a special odor, tastes bitter, and is easily soluble in water or methanol, and its hydrochloride form is commonly used in feed. Lincomycin hydrochloride is a product of the growth of Streptomyces streptavidin. It is a Lincosamides alkaline antibiotic that inhibits the elongation of the peptide chain by acting on the 50S subunit of the sensitive ribosome, thereby inhibiting bacterial cells. Protein synthesis, with antibacterial effect, but also has a bactericidal effect on highly sensitive bacteria at high concentrations. The antibacterial spectrum is the same as that of lincomycin, but the antibacterial activity is strong, and the oral absorption is fast and complete (about 90%). The effect of eating on absorption is not great. Lincomycin hydrochloride has strong antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria, some anaerobic bacteria and mycoplasma, and the antibacterial spectrum is narrower than erythromycin. Staphylococcus aureus, hemolytic streptococcus, pneumococcus, porcine pneumoniae, and sputum sputum are sensitive to this product, but enterococci are generally resistant to this product; anaerobic bacteria such as Bacteroides, tetanus, Clostridium, Clostridium perfringens, and digestive cocci are also sensitive to this product. Lincomycin hydrochloride is mainly used for treating various infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria, especially Gram-positive bacteria resistant to penicillin, somatoform-induced chronic respiratory diseases of poultry, swine gastroenterology, anaerobic infection such as chicken necrosis Enteritis, etc., is also used to treat Helicobacter pylori dysentery, toxoplasmosis and actinomycosis in dogs and cats.
Lincomycin hydrochloride on most Gram-negative bacteria and certain anaerobic bacteria caused by sepsis, female reproductive tract, endometritis, non-gonococcal fallopian tube ovarian abscess, pelvic cellulitis, postoperative vaginal attachment infection, peritonitis , abscess, pneumonia, lung abscess, skin and soft tissue infections have therapeutic effects. It is also used for sepsis caused by streptococci and staphylococcus, bone and joint infections, surgical adjuvant treatment of chronic bone and joint infections, acute blood-borne osteomyelitis caused by staphylococci, and the like. However, lincomycin hydrochloride does not penetrate into the cerebrospinal fluid, so it is not suitable for the treatment of meningitis. Topical treatment can treat Gram-positive bacteria purulent infection.
